Original and authentic American brownie recipe to prepare by hand: it is moist and moist inside.

BROWNIE Ingredients
– 230 g of semi-sweet chocolate, chopped or in calletti.
– 200g unsalted butter + a little for greasing
– 1/2 cup(s) of cocoa powder – level measuring cup (20 g for every 2 portions)
– 1 teaspoon(s) of sodium bicarbonate
– 130 g of sifted soft wheat flour (65 g for every 2 portions)
– 1 cup(s) brown sugar, sifted (125 g for every 2 servings)
– 4 eggs, whole and beaten
– 150 g chopped walnuts (optional) (or whatever you prefer)
PREPARATION:
- Separate the utensils and ingredients for the recipe.
- This recipe makes a 20cm x 20cm brownie in 4 portions.
- Line the baking tray(s) with baking paper (bottom and edges). If necessary, grease with a little butter.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Chop the chocolate if you are not using it in the callets.
- Chop nuts or other dried fruit of your choice (optional).
PREPARATION:
Brownies:
- In a non-metallic bowl, melt the chocolate with the butter in the microwave, every 30 seconds. Mix and let cool a little.
- In another bowl sift the dry ingredients: flour, cocoa, bicarbonate and brown sugar.
- With the chocolate mixture already warm (rather than cold), add the eggs, one by one and beat with the wire whisk.
- Finally, add the dry ingredients to the melted chocolate mixture.
- Mix well to incorporate all the ingredients.
- Add chopped nuts or other dried fruit of your choice (optional). Mix to distribute.
- Place the batter into the pre-greased pan(es) – it should fill at least ¾ full (remember that the brownie doesn’t rise very much).
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20-25 minutes – or until the cake is set but still feels moist when tested with a toothpick.
- When it is ready, remove it from the oven and let it cool.
FINALIZATION AND ASSEMBLY:
- Cut the brownie into squares to serve.
- Serve with ice cream, fruit and syrup of your choice (optional).
