Tired of the eternal mess in your house? Consider throwing these things away – you definitely don’t need them.
The “out of sight, out of mind” principle doesn’t always work: overcrowded cabinet shelves only serve to irritate. Today we’re going to look at the main culprits of clutter and lack of storage space. Here’s a checklist of 11 items you should get rid of to maximize the space in your home.
Additional cutlery
If the drawer for forks, spoons and knives is full, it’s time to sort them – most likely their number exceeds the norm. Each family member needs two of each type of cutlery: one can be used while the other is in the dishwasher. Everything else is superfluous: you can throw them away or give them to someone.
Books
This fate hits avid readers sooner than those who buy the occasional book, but sooner or later almost all of us find our shelves overflowing. Spend half an hour going through their contents, leaving only your favorite volumes that you will definitely re-read, and donate the rest to the nearest library.
