Pot pudding: prepare individual portions of the treat

In Brazil, every bakery and restaurant has a special place for pudding. But how about making an adaptation to make the recipe tastier? With this pudding in the poteveryone will be able to enjoy their own individual portion of sweetness.




With the recipe very similar to the traditional one, made in the blender, the biggest difference is the container that will be served. It is therefore important to remember to use refractory glass suitable for the oven.

Pudding in the pot

Time: 1h10 (+2h in the fridge)

Performance: 5 servings

Difficulty: easy

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cans condensed milk
  • 4 eggs

Syrup:

  • 1 cup (tea) sugar
  • 1 cup (tea) warm water

Preparation method:

  1. For the syrup, place the sugar in a saucepan and heat over a low heat until it melts and turns golden.
  2. Add the warm water, carefully and little by little, until the caramel dissolves in the water and forms a thin syrup.
  3. Divide half the syrup into 5 refractory glass jars until the bottom is covered. Book.
  4. Blend the condensed milk, milk and eggs in a blender until smooth.
  5. Pour the syrup into the jars, without letting it reach the edge.
  6. Arrange on a baking tray, side by side, and bake in a preheated medium oven, in a bain-marie, covered with aluminum foil, for 35 minutes or until firm.
  7. Remove and let cool.
  8. Store in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
  9. Remove from the oven, drizzle with the remaining syrup and serve.
