The singer and actress, who plays the iconic good witch, revealed that her experience in the role made her adopt a lighter aesthetic. This is reflected in her beauty routine and also in her latest brand launch REM Beauty.
In the video, Ariana shared that the character’s makeup influenced her to rethink her appearance and her relationship with makeup in a larger way. “Glinda’s makeup transformed my entire look and my entire relationship with makeup,” she commented.
Additionally, she talks about how she likes the cat-shaped eyelashes that provide the lifting effect and how the makeup style is done in a way that makes it look more honest and natural.

Michele Antonio, The makeup artist responsible for the artist’s look during the “Wicked” promotions opted for makeup that evoked the essence of Glinda, using soft shades of pink and shimmery eyeshadow. All the products applied are part of the new REM Beauty collection, directly inspired by the atmosphere of the film.
However, the line launched in early October, seeks to capture the duality of the “Wicked” universe, dividing itself into two distinct aesthetics: Glinda’s bright, pink one and Elphaba’s dark, green one.
“This is the biggest release of the year for us. It holds a special place in my heart. ‘Wicked’ has always been my favorite thing in the world, and now more than ever after trying it. This collection is so beautiful and thoughtful , I can’t wait to see not only these products and how magical they are, but also the packaging which is some of my favorite we’ve ever made. I’m so excited and I hope you like it,” Ariana said in a social media post , demonstrating their enthusiasm for the project.
REM Beauty’s new collection not only celebrates Ariana’s debut as Glinda, but also invites fans to embark on a magical journey through products carefully crafted to reflect the beauty and complexity of the Witches of Oz.
