Steak with carrot crumble

Ingredients:
- 4 sirloin steaks (approximately 600 g)
- 2 crushed garlic cloves
- 1 tablespoon fine herbs
- 3/4 cup mustard
- Salt to taste
- 4 tablespoons of oil
Farofa
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 onion chopped
- 2 seedless tomatoes chopped
- 1 cup chopped green olives
- 1 cup and 1/2 cup (tea) cornmeal
- 2 eggs, boiled and chopped
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 cup chopped green chili pepper
Preparation method:
- Season the steaks with garlic, herbs, mustard and salt.
- In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat the oil and fry the steaks on both sides for 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Reserve on a plate.
- For the farofa, in the same pan in which you fried the steaks, melt the butter with the olive oil, brown the onion, carrot, tomatoes and olives.
- Add flour, eggs, salt and green chillies.
- Mix well and serve immediately with the steaks.
