Guava jam with cheese

Ingredients:

  • 5 guavas
  • 2 cups (tea) of water
  • 1 cup (tea) sugar

Preparation method:

  1. Peel the guavas, cut them in half and remove the pulp.
  2. In a pan, cook the pulp and peel in water until softened.
  3. Remove from the heat and pass through a sieve.
  4. Return to the pan, add the sugar and cook again until boiling.
  5. Add the guava halves and cook until softened and the syrup is slightly thick.
  6. Let it cool.
  7. Transfer to a bowl and store in the refrigerator.
  8. Serve with white cheese and, if desired, garnish with mint leaves.
