The model has been undergoing treatment for a synovial sarcoma in her thigh since October this year Vera Viel (49) is heading into the final phase of his radiation therapy. In an interview with CARAS Brazilthe oncologist Jorge Abissamra Filho explains radiation therapy and provides more details about this new phase of the model’s treatment.

Last Saturday, 7th, the presenter Rodrigo Faro (51) revealed that Vera is close to finishing the sessions. The communicator said that his wife will have her last radiotherapy session on December 25, Christmas.

Doctor Jorge Abissamra recalls that Vera Viel and Rodrigo Faro were very insightful and paid attention to the smallest details when searching for a doctor, and this was essential in saving the model’s life and quickly diagnosing the disease.

“Because the lesion was diagnosed early, she was able to undergo surgery and is now undergoing radiation therapy to prevent the disease from returning.” The doctor explains that Vera Viel’s type of cancer can be confused with other benign conditions.

“Sarcomas are usually confused with a benign disease, with a lump or lump appearing somewhere in the body, local pain or limitation of movement, a condition common to any muscle pathology. WHAT ARE THE TREATMENTS IN FINAL LAW?

“The advice is to stay 6 months without sunbathing in the area after treatment and with good responses and chances of recovery”, concludes Dr. Jorge Abissamra.
