The president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) will undergo a new head procedure to stop a brain bleed. According to the medical team, the surgery will be carried out to stop further bleeding, like the one suffered by the chief executive this week. The surgery is scheduled for Thursday 12th.

On Tuesday 10th, the president underwent emergency surgery to drain a brain hematoma at the Sírio Libanês hospital, in Sao Paulo. The hematoma was located in the frontoparietal region, on the left side of the head. The lesion was 3 centimeters. Lula had no consequences and is conscious after surgery, the medical team said.
