Ground beef fricassee

Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • 700 g of minced meat
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 3 crushed garlic cloves
  • 2 seedless tomatoes chopped
  • 1 cup canned corn, drained
  • 1 sachet of powdered meat broth
  • Salt, black pepper and chopped green chilli to taste
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella
  • Straw potatoes for dusting

Preparation method:

  1. Heat the oil in a pan over high heat and brown the meat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. Add the onion, garlic, tomato, corn, beef broth and sauté for another 5 minutes or until the meat is no longer raw.
  3. Season with salt, pepper, green chillies and spread them in a medium baking dish.
  4. Cover with cream cheese and sprinkle with cheese.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 10 minutes or until lightly golden.
  6. Sprinkle with potato straws and serve immediately.
