Clínica Lapidar found that demand for silicone implants covers only 17% of procedures
Reduction is a new trend that is gaining prominence in the world of plastic surgery. For the first time, these breast reduction surgeries (27%) surpassed traditional silicone implants (17%), becoming the second most performed surgery in 2024, behind only HD liposuction with Renuvion (34%), a combination of two surgical techniques that remove fat and improve skin.
The data was observed by Clínica Lapidar, under the guidance of Dr. Cabral, who continues to monitor market changes by carrying out more than 9 thousand procedures in 20 years.
