Healthy ingredients for banana and strawberry milk shake

– 4 pieces of silver bananas, frozen

– 1 1/2 cups frozen strawberries

– 1/2 tablespoon(s) dried cranberries (or raisins)

– 2 tablespoons honey (or agave syrup)

– 1/2 cup(s) of natural yogurt a little, to adjust the consistency (or natural Greek yogurt)

Ingredients TO DECORATE:

– muesli to taste

– dry grated coconut to taste

– silver banana chopped to taste

– strawberries to taste, divided in half

PREPARATION:

  1. Peel and cut the bananas into small pieces. Place them in the freezer for at least 3 hours or until completely frozen.
  2. If using fresh strawberries, wash and stem them before placing them in the freezer. If using frozen strawberries, remove them directly from the freezer while preparing.
  3. Separate other utensils and ingredients from the recipe, including decorative items.

PREPARATION:

Healthy Strawberry Banana Milkshake:

  1. In a blender or food processor, place the frozen bananas, strawberries, yogurt, and honey or agave syrup.
  2. Blend the ingredients in the blender until you obtain a creamy and homogeneous mixture.
  3. Add cranberries or raisins (optional). Beat again.
  4. If the mixture is too thick, add more yogurt and beat again until you reach the desired consistency.

FINALIZATION AND ASSEMBLY:

  1. Distribute the healthy banana and strawberry smoothie in glasses or bowls.
  2. Add toppings: Decorate the top with granola, shredded coconut or fresh fruit (sliced ​​strawberries or banana slices), raisins or cranberries.
