Savory blended pie with cauliflower – a low carb, healthy, light and tasty recipe

SAVORY BLENDISHED CAKE (LOW CARB.) Ingredients:

– 1 unit of fresh cauliflower, pre-cooked

– 3 egg units, large

– 2/3 cup(s) of almond milk

– 100 g of fresh Minas cheese without lactose

– 2 teaspoons of olive oil + a little for greasing

– 2 tablespoons golden linseed flour

– 1/2 teaspoon zahtar (or anything else of your choice)

– 1 teaspoon(s) of chemical yeast

– 1 clove(s) of garlic, peeled and chopped

PREPARATION:

  1. Separate all the utensils and ingredients needed for the blended quiche (low carb).
  2. For 1 recipe – 4 portions, use a round baking tray 22cm in diameter, 3cm high (shallow baking tray) and grease it with olive oil.
  3. Peel and mince the garlic clove.
  4. In a large pot, boil enough water to pre-cook the cauliflower.
  5. Pre-cook the cauliflower in boiling water for 3 minutes. Drain well and reserve.
  6. Preheat the oven to 180°C.

PREPARATION:

Low Carb Blender Savory Pie – Pie Crust:

  1. To the blender, add the pre-cooked cauliflower, eggs, almond milk, lactose-free Minas cheese, golden flax seeds, zahtar (or other seasoning of your choice), baking powder, and/or minced garlic cloves .
  2. Blend all the ingredients until you obtain a smooth and well-blended mixture.

Savory Cake Low Carb Blender – Assembly and Cooking:

  1. Transfer the dough to the previously greased pan.
  2. Place in the preheated oven and cook at 180°C for about 30 minutes, or until the cake is firm and golden.
  3. To check if the cake is well cooked, do the toothpick test: insert a toothpick into the center of the cake; if it comes out clean the cake is ready.
  4. When it reaches the cooking point, turn off and remove from the oven.

FINALIZATION AND ASSEMBLY:

  1. Serve to blended savory cake (low carb) still hot, accompanied by a green salad or other side dish of your choice.
