The influencer reportedly faced an emotional crisis caused by attacks on social networks
Vents on virtual attacks
Rico Melquiades revealed on social networks this Friday (24/1) that he had to consult a doctor after exaggerating the dose of calm. The influencer, known for winning “Farm 13,” said the criticism he received in Instagram comments aggravated his anxiety and severely affected his emotional health.
“I’m getting a lot of loving messages, okay? I want to clarify. However, there are a lot of bad people. I already have problems with anxiety, you know my story. These comments end up with me,” Rico said, explaining that even trying to avoid to accompany the criticisms, they keep coming.
Crisis and trip to hospital
During the report, Rico said that being too calm led to severe symptoms that landed him in the hospital. “The day before yesterday I took my rivotril, I took so many drops that I was sick. I had to call a friend to take me to the hospital because I couldn’t feel my legs. I started shaking because I overdid the medicine,” explained the ‘influencer, visibly shaken.
He also said the impact of the attacks had been devastating. “This is finishing my psychological, with my head. I have no life left, I swear to God,” he said.
Professional consequences
Their mental health issues have been exacerbated by recent controversies that have affected their careers. Since January 15, the influencer has been the target of an investigation by the civil police of Alagoas into the promotion of online gambling, which has resulted in the loss of contracts and professional opportunities.
“He was about to sign a $50,000 contract and the mark dropped because of this exhibition. It was already right to sign, but I lost this contract because of this,” he lamented. He also revealed that his television appearance program has been cancelled. “It’s really hard for me, but I believe in God, that it’s a phase and it will pass,” he concluded.
