Quibebe pumpkin ingredients

– Oil to taste

– 1/2 unit (i) onion, bite

– 2 teeth of garlic, chopped (s)

– 500 g of peeled pumpkin and cut into cubes

– 2 units (i) Bay leaves

– Go up to taste

– Pepe to taste AND

-2 tablespoons (s) (soup) of anacardi (or xerém peanuts)

Pre-repair:

1. Wash, peel and cut the onion and garlic.

2. Bring a kettle with boiling water to cook the pumpkin: the amount of water required will depend on the humidity of the pumpkin.

PREPARATION:

Pumpkin kibbebe:

1. Heat a pan with a little oil and sauté the garlic and onion until they are transparent.

2. Add the pumpkin cubes and the bay leaf and brown well.

3. Season with salt and pepper.

4. Lower the medium heat and cook, mixing once in a while until the pumpkin is soft, about 10-15 minutes. If the pumpkin is too dry, season with a little boiling water so that in the end it translates into a very humid puree.

5. If cooked, check the salt and pepper.

6. Turn off the heat and discard the bay leaf.

Finishing and assembly:

1. At the time of the portion, add the anachds or peanuts to the pumpkin kibbeb and mix well.

2. Arrange the Quibebe on a plate or, if you prefer, distribute on the dishes next to your main dish.
