Take a look at the interview:

1. How was the beginning of your career? How do the scenes behind?

“I did the theatrical professional school and I graduated to 17 as an actress. I know that I prepared me before it was what allowed me to have the accurate appearance that I have for everything related to my job. From behind the scenes, I can say that there is a very organized engineering of professionals who love what they do. So that everything works”.

2. Do you see some differences in the areas of research and preparation of the cast?

“There is no difference because one activity needs the other to happen. We – directors – are the professionals who present talents for the projects. Once chosen, they are delivered to the preparation of the work. However, before approval, still in the trial study, it is the director of the cast that indicates the ways for the actor to present himself in a test. I love all the phases of this process, without preferences.”

3. How does the cast management process work? Is there any specific criteria?

“Our work must always be designed and adapted for each project. And everyone has its own specificities. I can say that everything starts from reading the text. So let’s think about the talents that best suits the characters we have to find. If there was a scheme, it would not be an artistic work. The art is free and it is exactly this freedom that allows great results and launches of new talents.”

4. What was the most surprising work of your career between TV, theater and cinema?

“The most surprising was undoubtedly a soap work that I had the honor of climbing in Angola, in 2000 (TPA Turn). My first morning in Luanda, I heard a gospel song from the hotel window. Alexandre Guimarães He was in the next room and also ran to the window, like me. We went to the courtyard of the church and that was my first day of research. In short, he was a young event and made individual shows. There I met the Cabingano ManuelA great boy who invited the tests. He was approved and today, 25 years later, he is a great television conductor in the country. I am very proud of this work and the good memories of the fantastic people I met there.

5. In all these years of experience, do you see some significant changes in relation to beauty standards in artistic production?

“The great truth is that the public wants to recognize himself on the screens. I realize that there is a positive change in the search for more realistic, inclusive and different cast assemblies. We all won with it, without a doubt.”

6. What are the greatest challenges in creating female empowerment articles?

“I think there are no challenges as we would be if we were in 1980. The female characters are more interesting and stimulating. We no longer accept a dramaturgy that puts women instead of submission. We have always been enhanced. Nobody will close our opinions and positions in the world. Both in life and in fiction.”

7. How was it to participate behind the scenes of the choice of the cast of “Fatal Beauty”?

“It was a wonderful gift, without a doubt. I was surrounded by longtime professional partners, Egresses of TV Globo, like me: Maria de Medicismy beloved director, André Reismy wonderful manager, Monica AlbuquerquePowerful chefona, in addition to a great team of strong women of Max and Timão da Coração da Jungle, a very competent producer who performed the soap opera.

8. Do you think it was also an important figure for the success of the novel precisely for the active participation in the choice of the cast?

“Without modesty, I know the value of my gaze as a researcher and director of the cast. Give” body “to the characters created by Raphael Montes was a very tasty dish to taste. The cast has been put together, with constructive discussions and very affection. The result could only be: I can say that we are very happy and proud.”
