Beatriz says that in the first weeks in the capital of the state he felt some twing in his chest, but nothing worthy of concern. However, as the pain insisted, he decided to go to the doctor for a check.

With the case that began to worsen, Beatriz made several trips to the hospitals of San Paolo. In July, he was admitted to the Das Clínicas hospital, where he suffered a biopsy and, after 15 days, he was transferred to the San Paolo State Cancer Institute (Icesp). In the unit, he received the information he was with a Non Hodgkin lymphoma, the widespread type of large cells.
Beatriz reports that you have learned diagnosis by chance. The doctor thought he was already knowing about the test result and having spoken to her normally, without preparing it for the news. “I was surprised. I was only in the hospital, I couldn’t escort. I didn’t believe. “
According to her, in the first moments, she did not assimilate what was happening as something serious and believed that the dough was benign, which was not the case. “I didn’t even imagine,” he recalls.
The mentor says he called his mother and husband and cried a lot on the phone. Until then, it has always been healthy enough and has not had a family history with the disease. After the diagnosis, it was led to an intensive care unit (ICU).
“I didn’t know that my conditions were so serious. I didn’t understand. After crossing the hospital, talking to my husband, I discovered that the doctors said I could die, which I didn’t know. I could have died because it was a case of great urgency, “he said.
According to her, the feeling was as if “she had done badly”, it would have remained there enough to heal and then go home. “In my head, it hasn’t passed at any time that I could die. I have always kept my faith very large,” underlines Beatriz.
In August, he was discharged and says he was afraid to go home. Beatriz reports that, after spending so much time in the hospital, it feared if it could maintain the rhythm of the treatments. “I was afraid of my husband and my mother I could not take care of me. I didn’t feel that my house was my home. It was so much medicine that I was taking. I think I was taking about 50 pills the day. I had a crisis,” he said.
About three days later, the hair was shaved. “The doctor said that my hair would fall about 15 days later and I didn’t believe it would have fallen again. I said: ‘No, I don’t think it will fall, no. My body is strong,” he recalls. “It was a day when I was already seeing a lot of hair at home. I couldn’t take any anymore.”
“There is a video of this moment. Hair loss has not determined to be sad or something like that, but losing all the hair, having to shave, was like the signature of who I was: a cancer patient. I am crossing cancer. It is as if the record had fallen there in that hour,” he says.
Beatriz claims to have repented, because she was at the peak of youth, she was working hard and establishing partnerships and everything had to stop because of the severity of the disease. Overall, Carioca has undergone cardiac surgery -200 ml liquid in the organ, from five chemotherapy, 17 radiotherapy sessions and had to use Deeno.
The latest medicinal applications ended this month and without signs of cancer. The next day, Beatriz will examine the exam that demonstrates the remission of the condition.

Working with Digital, Beatriz saw in the networks the opportunity to talk about its history, to warn the disease and function as a support group for other cancer patients. “He also started reaching people with lymphoma, with cancer, then it was when I said: ‘I will talk about those I did that they helped me, I will talk about my diet, I will talk about the subjects, I will talk about everything. I know that this can help people,” he said.
“I see that some of my story has reached so many people, even before interviews, even before the social networks. I’m only talking to someone there, someone who needed a word of mood there, I feel like if it were worth it. And I am very grateful to God for giving me this way of seeing, this way to bring all this experience, “says Carioca.
