The second version attributes the invention to the owner of the Hanlin tea room in a secret inspired by starchy balls in sugar water, a dessert on the local market.
The two stories are interesting and quite credible, but in 2019, the Court concluded that Bable is not a patented product, the question of its paternity has no legal importance.

Initially, the babbling was made of sweet black tea with milk and lactic cream.
