For over 150 years, Gerard Adriaan Heineken has opened a small brewery in the center of the Dutch capital after almost a decade trying to find the perfect formula for a clear premium beer. The success was such that the brand has become known all over the world and its history can be seen in Heineken Experience, a car -caricate and engaging tour that provides a dip in the universe of Dutch beer.

Located in the old brewery factory made in 1988-, in the heart of Amsterdam, the attraction mixes the architectural charm of the imposing building and full of bricks with technology, as it is full of panels and projections in the videos showing each process, from 1873 to the present day.
THE Earth He experienced this two -hour experience, which obviously ends with a good tasting. Upon arrival in the building located in Stadhouderskade 78, we were brought for the first time to the Amspare file, one of the beers that are part of the group. Like Heineken, the story of the redness is also familiar and the drink was created by two sisters, Jonkheer Charles of PESSERS and Johannes Van Marwijk Koooy in 1870.
It was there that we discovered that even the red and white round logo was inspired by the pools of the pool, a passion of the two friends and the name is inspired by the river that bears the same name as the drink. In the room with air conditioning, which helps in the conservation of drinks, it is possible to access all the bottles already used, in addition to the labels and some advertisements made along the trajectory.

The file is vast. There are dozens of technological shelves, which open and close through control, and store several objects that have already been marketed, such as glasses, cups, ashtrays, bottles, stationery items and even decks. In this same room, you can also see autographs of the singer Roberto Carlos and Formula 1 pilot, Max Verstappen.
After checking in this universe, we were able to start the expected tour of the green universe. Already at the entrance, we won our three chips, which could eventually be exchanged for three plug beer. So we started the story of Mr. Heineken, who left the beer factory for the inherited family.
As with Amspel, there is a space dedicated to the design of bottles, labels and advertising campaigns over the years. For those who appreciate art or even work with design, the place is a complete dish (or a glass). It is possible to observe how the identity of the brand adapted at different times.
One of the most surprising steps is, of course, the explanation of the drink production process, from the ingredients-cavades, from hops and water and fermentation. At a certain point we even “transformed” into beers in a stranded simulation. The experience is total audiovisual and mixes lights, movement and sound.
Following, you can pass a corridor in which the lights will light up while passing and then falls to a room dedicated to the Champions League. There we were able to climb the podium, sit on the reserve bench, play a FIFA match and see the uniform and helmet worn by Verstappen during the Red Bull Racing 2024 season.
There is still like walking on a typical Dutch bike, trying to risk the anthem of the country, which is quite difficult by the way.
In the last few moments, the tour goes to a bar, in which the chips are changed up to three beer with the plug, which can be zero alcohol, the traditional clear beer or a lighter version of the drink. Contrary to most bars in Europe, the drink served very cold, of very modern mood, with lights and music, which complete the journey on the history of the brand. If you go alone, it is a very sociable and favorable environment for new friendships. In addition, you can climb the roof, where you have a privileged vision of Amsterdam.
