How to get rid of a possible attack on the road – such as robbery, aggression and attempted rape and kidnapping – and also of domestic aggression was the motto of the inaugural class of “defender”, social initiative of the Pro and Paulo Kobayashi institutes.
Held on Monday evening (5/5), in San Paolo-Sp, the activity brought together several women leader, students and authorities. The course takes place, free of charge, on Monday and Thursday, on the 2nd floor of the “Dom Orione” educational center (Rua Treze de Maio, 478 – Bela Vista). It is still possible to register for the project, which also offers psychological welcome, physiotherapy and legal support, free of charge.
At the opening ceremony, the personal defense instructor, the master and the multigrado of Taekwondo débora Lima taught self -defense techniques and postures, as well as share knowledge in martial arts.
The inaugural class also attended Jiu-Jitsu Jaqueline Almeida multimedist. Brazilian, the athlete lives and has worked in Ireland for nine years. According to the coordinator of “Defendi Se” and President of Pro-Vitim, the Celeste Prosecutor Leite Dos Santos (MP-SP), the expectation is that the movement generates collective support and strengthening of the city in the city of San Paolo in protection and attention to the victims of urban and domestic violence:
“The women of different age groups have come in search of autopro-force, support and tools that allow them to personal defense. We realize that this audience is very willing to learn. The self -defense course is held on Monday, from 19 to 19h45 and Thursday, from 19:45 to 20:30. On Tuesday, the lengthening lessons are offered from 18:30 to 19:30, also in Dom Orione.
