Dance – An answer to many questions: from weight loss to the suppression of stress. But which will suit you? We asked three teachers to talk about the areas they run – maybe it will help make a choice!

For those who want to communicate: waltz on the cross floor

“This is a holiday”: 3 dance teachers have spoken of the instructions they direct

Said Maria Shemashurenko

I teach the waltz in a modern cross step. How does it differ from the classic? On the one hand, it is a real waltz – the couples turn and fly in a circle, on the other hand, the rotation of the dancers is without insurance, they slide gently on the parquet and can make many other figures when they move.

Waltz at a cross stage Dance on different music. The essential is the size of three quarters, and these compositions are in almost all genres – from heavy jazz rock, so that everyone can find a melody that will hang it.

The waltz in stages is young: it was born at the end of the 20th century at the junction of a waltz, a tango and a blues. He is slow and improvised: he has no pre-written scheme, the couple creates the drawing itself “in the moment”. The Waltz in steps is not interpreted for spectators or judges, you do it only for yourself and always in a new way: with each partner, you will get your dance.

Start dancing a waltz in a cross step is simple. It is based on any complex movement, it does not require special physical training. Can you walk? That’s enough. I like to say that the upstairs waltz is a social dance. He teaches us to listen to a partner and trust each other. It is a kind of conversation, only in body language.

Another step by stage is a community. By starting to participate, you will find around many people in love with a waltz, with whom you can not only divide the joy of dance on the ground, but also go to the movies or play tables.

For those who don’t want to age: Bellidans

Said Vladislav Simbirskaya

A flexible camp, thanks in each movement, signaling to the turns of the body … It may seem too poetic, but that’s how I want to describe a woman interpreting Bellidans. They often think that it is only a belly dance, but in fact, Bellidans is many directions, and each has its own characteristics. They unite them with all the style of the movements.

The main distinctive characteristic of oriental dance is the hips: the smooth swing, the eight, the sharp accent blows to the rhythm of music and shimmi – tremors. Another characteristic is the waves and the deviation: it sometimes seems that the body of a dancer is made of chestful, so gently it flows from one position to another. All movements seem easy and natural, as if they required no effort, but this effect can only be achieved at long and hard work.

You can start engaging in oriental dances at any age, but it seems to me that canonical performance is not suitable for little girls: this direction is, first of all, on sensuality and seductivity. However, you can always find an interpretation that excludes the sexual subtext.

I can highlight the three most important advantages of oriental dances. First, it is a study of all muscles, including those whose existence you do not even suspect. Second, this is an improvement in coordination. Third, you … wise. I am not kidding: working in different parts of the body in different planes and at different speeds develops neural connections and helps the brain not to age for a long time.

I would recommend oriental dances to women who want to get in touch with their bodies, feel their opportunities and acquire self -confidence. When we relax, we become elegant, female and attractive – including for ourselves. Well, a bonus will be a shape in shape and well -developed muscles.

For those who like to compete: Irish dances

Said Evgenia Puchinskaya

I have been teaching for 20 years, but I still remember the pleasure of looking at the performance of the flame feet, which determined my future spell and my career. Most people know that Irish dance on the show of Michael Flatley, and almost no one knows that sports dance is based on stage dance.

When they ask me what the Irish dances are, I generally answer: “This is where they jump and hit their feet.” They “jump” in soft shoes: in style, it is closest to the ballet technique, only without using the hands, with a static case and the most crossed legs. The Irish stage, where they “strike”, differ from the usual flight from the same characteristics.

Irish dance combines sport and art. On the one hand, it implies decline and discipline, there are standards: it is true, but not. On the other hand, it is a show that affects grace and rhythm. If you like the feeling of theft if the rhythmic drawings are fascinated, if you like to compete and learn more and more difficult things, you will like Irish dances.

An important bonus: Irish dances – solo. They don’t need a partner, your result only depends on you. You can “enter” them at any time: in competitions, there is a division both by the levels of “advance” and by age. In other words, you will compete with the more or less peers who train roughly the same thing. And above all – you are assured of a good business and a great mood. Because, as I like to tell students, Irish dances are a vacation!
