The man elected “the most beautiful in Italy” decides to be a priest

The model Edoardo Santini, who was elected the most beautiful man in Italy, abandoned his career at the end of 2023 because he decided to be a priest. The launch showed and the Republic for those who have not seen.

“They gave me the strength to investigate these problems that I carry with me as a young man and who have not been deepened for many fears,” he said. Edoardo Santini said that he lived in 2022 the “most beautiful experience” of his life in living with two priests.

According to the young man, the period in which he lived with the priests made him “find in everyday life the answers that hoped to come from the skies”.

Santini reported that during this experience he helped the help in two parishes that strengthened his desire to undertake religious life. He started studying theology.

“I decided to abandon the work as a model (dance and acting). I will not leave my passions, I will live them only otherwise, offering Jesus,” he explained.

Santini was present at the 2023 edition of the World Youth Day in Lisbon, Portugal. The Catholicism event was established in 1985 by Pope John Paul II and takes place every two or three years of the week.

In one of them, the young man wrote: “The person could be the most beautiful in the world, but if he is canceled within that beauty he is less than zero”.

“Maybe you can use your face and physique to get how many men or women you want. But would you be happy? Are you really happy?” He asked.

“The body is a gift, let’s explore. But we will put it at the service of the spirit. So you will realize that there are no imperfections because we are all reflections of God,” he added.

Santini also made an assignment that he said he had “rediscovered the church”. “I thought she was dead and became a hypocritical (or always),” he said, before he said he had found the “Church that actually was born from God”.

Catholicism is religion with most practitioners in Italy. The headquarters of the Roman Catholic Church, the small state of the Vatican is an enclave within Rome, Italian capital.
