Wake will be held next weekend in Milan

Considered an icon of world fashion, the Italian designer Giorgio Armani died on Thursday (4), at the age of 91, said the group in a note.

The stylist’s funeral will begin next Saturday (6) and will be open to the public until Sunday (7), from 9:00 to 18:00 (local time), in Milan. The funeral will be held during the private ceremony, following the Italian request.

Armani was synonymous with modern Italian style and elegance, with his minimalist fashion. During his career, he combined the talent of a designer with the intuition of a businessman, guiding a company with revenue of about 2.3 billion euros per year. .
