It has most of the Brazilians every day on the plate, the beans go far beyond a simple accompaniment. Epidemiological studies indicate that frequent consumption of legumes – such as beans, lentils and chickpeas – can be associated with longevity, especially in the regions known as blue areas, where the population reaches high life expectancy.

According to Dr. Nutrologue Dr. Isolda Prado, director of Abran (Brasilian Association of Nutrology), Beans brings together a series of nutrients that positively affect health.
