Fear and panic: the human reaction to the invisible and uncontrollable. Understand more and consult the healer’s advice
Fear is one of the oldest and most powerful emotions known to humans. It is an essential biological response for survival, a natural warning in the face of danger. Panic is fear taken to the extreme: an intense rush of energy that goes beyond the limits of rational control and plunges the body into a state of physical, mental and spiritual desperation.
Fear under the eyes of science
When the brain identifies a threat, the autonomic nervous system activates the brain’s amygdala, which is responsible for processing fear. Within seconds, the body releases adrenaline and cortisol, hormones that prepare the body to fight or flee, the so-called survival mechanism.
The heart speeds up, muscles contract, breathing becomes short and digestion stops. All of this is a natural reaction, which evolutionarily saved human lives.
The problem arises when the brain interprets threats that no longer exist. Past situations, traumas, painful memories or unconscious emotional stimuli can activate this same system, leading the body to live in a constant state of alert.
It’s as if the mind is always “expecting danger”, even when everything is calm.
Panic and overloaded body
Panic disorder is a form of energy and chemical exhaustion. The adrenaline rush becomes unregulated and the body short-circuits emotionally.
The symptoms are physical – tachycardia, shortness of breath, dizziness, cold sweat, feeling of fainting – but the origin is profound: an imbalance between the central nervous, emotional and energetic systems.
Neuroscience explains that panic is an inability of the brain to interpret. The amygdala and hippocampus register false alarms, repeating old reactions. It is as if the mind relives a trauma without knowing how to differentiate it from the present.
The emotional aspect: when fear is memory
From an emotional point of view, fear is an energy that If it accumulates when it is not welcomed. It often arises from misunderstood experiences: loss, rejection, abusive situations, lack of security in childhood, or even spiritual shock.
These experiences are recorded in the body in the form of cellular memory. Epigenetics already confirms that trauma can be transmitted across generations, influencing genetic expression and how the organism reacts to stress.
When a person lives in constant fear, the body interprets the world as a threat and this weakens the immune, digestive and cardiac systems. Poorly processed emotions turn into a pattern, and the pattern turns into an emotional prison.
The spiritual gaze: fear as dense energy
In the spiritual field, fear is one of the densest vibrations that can involve human beings. It closes the auric field, reduces energy flow and prevents connection with higher planes of consciousness.
The person dominated by fear feels separated from the Creator, incapable of trusting. It’s as if the inner light goes out momentarily.
Benzedeira, with his ancestral perspective, understands fear not only as an emotion, but as energy accumulated in the spiritual field. Blessings, prayers and sacred herbs help to dissipate these energies, restoring the flow of life and allowing the person to feel security, faith and presence again.

Overcoming fear and panic is a process that combines science, emotion and spirituality.
Science teaches you to understand mechanisms; emotion teaches us to welcome feelings; and the spirit teaches you to trust and abandon yourself to the flow of life.
Fear does not need to be overcome: it must be transmuted. When looked at with love, fear reveals what still needs light. And when the light enters, panic turns into strength, tremor into faith, desperation into presence.
Advice from Benzedeira
Avoid showering after 9pm.
Do not go to parties or consume alcohol immediately after the ritual.
Do the blessing or bath for three consecutive days, if you deem it necessary.
Always pray before going to sleep, asking that peace guide your dreams and that fear transforms into trust.
The blessing is not just a ritual: it is a reunion with the inner light.
When the person feels faith again, the energy reorganizes, the heart slows down and the spirit finds refuge.
BLESSING FOR PANIC AND FEAR
“In the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
I bless this afflicted heart and this tired mind.
May all fear return to dust,
May every anguish dissolve in the wind,
May the divine fire purify thought.
May Saint Michael the Archangel with his sword of light
cuts all ties of fear and confusion.
May Our Lady wrap this being in her sacred mantle,
bringing calm, faith and protection.
May the heart beat in time with peace,
may your breathing be as light as the country breeze,
and the Spirit still trusts in life,
for no evil is greater than the power of prayer.”
Amen.
