Ferette pressures his lover to kill Josefa
Tired of her mother’s interference, Arminda tries to kill Josefa
Who can sleep peacefully after exchanging medicine for flour and leaving millions of people at risk of death? Santiago Ferette (Murilo Benício), a despicable man, capable of doing anything to have money and power. But there is someone even worse: Arminda (Grazi Massafera), who in addition to joyfully doing everything her lover does, also accepts the order to end her mother’s life!
Change medications
What is known is that Josefa (Arlete Salles) suffers from memory lapses, and therefore requires special care. But the truth is that you are very clear-headed and follow everything your daughter and Ferette do. So much so that when he opens his mouth he leaves the pair of villains in a panic. When Josefa said in front of Zenilda (Andréa Horta) that Arminda was receiving an illustrious visit, the villain was possessed and even tried to hang her mother with a scarf. Furthermore, the old woman’s conversations with Gerluce (Sophie Charlotte) are worrying Arminda and Ferette beyond words and that’s when Ferette gets fed up and, just as she does with the patients who receive the Foundation’s fake medicines, orders her lover to swap the real medicines for the fake ones, all to make Josefa’s memory even worse and, who knows, kill her.
Arminda followed what he told her, however, when it came to treating her mother, she gave up, scared of what might happen, proving that she still had some awareness and care for the matriarch. But Ferette does not give up the idea of killing Josefa and orders Dona Cobra to do what she promised.
Without flour, but with poison!
Josefa doesn’t stop talking, especially after Gerluce discovers the fake pill scam, and Arminda is not willing to lose everything she has achieved because of her mother. And most importantly, she doesn’t want to lose her lover. Then he complains once again to Ferette about Josefa’s words, who no longer hides her intention, which is to betray her daughter’s rotten affairs. Leonardo’s father (Pedro Novaes), impatiently, tells Arminda that they should no longer give her counterfeit pills to hasten Josefa’s death, but rather put poison in her medicines, so that the old woman dies soon. And once again he says: “I will not lose everything I have achieved because of an old woman. If anything happens, I will finish it with my own hands. And you too. I don’t want to see myself without patience, Arminda!”, he will say with eyes full of hatred.
One drop of poison at a time
Arminda is scared of Ferette and, knowing that the businessman is truly capable of destroying her, begins to follow his orders. The two put drops of poison inside the capsules so much so that Josefa suffers a violent heart attack, and Arminda delivers the medicine at the right time. Josefa takes the capsules and puts them in her mouth, but without her daughter realizing it, she throws everything away, with Gerluce’s help. But in order for Arminda to believe that the plan continues to work, she must now, in addition to faking her memory lapses, also say that she feels weaker every day. Will the couple believe it?
