Ice Cream Day: two recipes with grape juice to cool down

Check out these recipes we separated for Ice Cream Day and save them to enjoy on warmer days

Celebrated the day after the arrival of spring, that is today (23), Ice Cream Day is a great date for welcome the warm season. And don’t worry: you can include this delicious dessert, in a moderate way, of course, in a balanced diet.

This is especially possible when we think of juice-based ice creams. So on this ice cream day, check out the grape juice ice cream and popsicle recipes we’ve separated for you to try at dessert time:

Vanilla ice cream with grape syrup

Ingredients:

  • 2 very ripe bananas
  • 1 dessert spoon of vanilla essence
  • 3 tablespoons of natural whole yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 1 cup of grape juice

Method of preparation:

In the food processor, place the bananas with the peel, the vanilla, the plain yogurt and the melted butter. Whip until smooth cream and put it in a glass or stainless steel pot, cover with the lid or with cling film to avoid the formation of ice crystals. We let it freeze for 6 hours. When ready to serve, remove from the oven 5 minutes beforehand to soften slightly and form ice cream balls.

While the ice cream freezes, it’s time to make the syrup! Put the juice in a pan over low heat and let the juice water evaporate (reduce) for 20 minutes, until it becomes more concentrated. So don’t leave too much of it so it doesn’t turn into caramel! Then put it to cool and when ready to serve the ice cream pour it over to be even more deliciously healthy. ⠀

grape popsicle

Ingredients:

  • 200 ml of whole grape juice
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 100 ml of glass of vegetable drink

Method of preparation:

Blend all the ingredients in a blender and pour into a popsicle mold. Finally put in the freezer for about 4 hours and serve alone.

Revenues: Campo Largo juice.
