Ingredients for baked stuffed meatballs:
- 800 g of minced meat
- 1 sachet of powdered onion cream (68 g)
- 2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 grated onion
- 1/2 cup chopped parsley (green)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 250 g of grated cooked ham
- 1 cup (tea) of catupiry cheese
- Wheat flour for breading
- Fry oil
- 150 g of grated mozzarella
Sauce:
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 2 tablespoons of wheat flour
- 2 cups (tea) of milk
- 1 box of sour cream (200 g)
- Salt and nutmeg to taste
Method of preparation:
For the sauce, in a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and fry, stirring until it turns yellow. Gradually add the milk, stirring until it thickens. Add the cream, salt and nutmeg, stir and turn off the heat. Reserve. For the meatball, in a bowl, mix the ground beef, onion cream, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, parsley, salt and pepper to form a homogeneous mass.
Open portions of the dough with your hands and stuff with a portion of ham mixed with the catupiry. Close and shape the meatballs. Pass in the flour and fry, a little at a time, in boiling oil until golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper and place in a refractory. Cover with the béchamel, sprinkle with the mozzarella and bring to a medium oven, preheated, for 10 minutes to brown.
