To guarantee this delight to surprise loved ones or even to use as a filling in desserts, just follow the jabuticaba liqueur recipe below and have the patience to wait 5 days to guarantee you the maximum of its flavors! Take a look below:
Time: 2h (+5 rest days)
Performance: 2 servings
Difficulty: medium
Jabuticaba Liqueur Ingredients:
- 1 kg of jabuticaba
- 4 and 1/2 cups (tea) of sugar
- 1 cup (tea) of water
Method of preparation:
Wash the jabuticabas well and dry them with a clean cloth. Squeeze the jabuticabas with your fingers to detach the pulp from the shell. Put the same amount of fruit in clean jars with a lid. Divide the cachaça into the glasses, cover and let it rest for 5 days in a dark and ventilated place, shaking the glass once a day. In a saucepan, dissolve the sugar in the water and bring it to low heat, without stirring, for 18 minutes or until a thin syrup forms. Let it cool down. Strain the fruit with the cachaça through a clean cotton cloth. Mix with the syrup and divide into bottles. Keep in a cold and dry place.
