A video shared by an obstetrician drew attention on social media. The images show a birth of twins – which is always exciting – but with a curious detail: one of the children was born inside the amniotic sac.
“I wanted to get there,” wrote Leandra Campos Barbosa, gynecologist, obstetrician and sexologist, on her Instagram profile. In the caption of the post you tell us that Rafaella, the first child to come out of her mother’s womb, was in a cephalic position (that is, upside down); Isabella, the sister, was in the breech (sitting) position and was wearing a coat.
The record of the caesarean section is impressive, as you can perfectly see the little one inside the bag, without noticing that it is already outside the uterus. After taking her out of the body of mother Naiara Santos, the doctor breaks the structure involving the child.

As the expert explained, Rafaella and Isabella are fraternal, that is, not identical.. They are called fraternal twins, made up of several eggs and sperm. It is worth remembering that the identical ones are identical, originating when a single fertilization occurs and the zygote divides, resulting in two babies.
The delivery took place last Monday, 10, in Iporá, Goiás. The next day, the mother and daughters were discharged and returned home.
