Crunchy and dry cracklings ingredients:

  • 1 kg of diced pork rinds, bacon or bacon
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 3 crushed garlic cloves
  • 2 spoons of cachaça
  • 1/2 cup (tea) of oil

Method of preparation:

Season the cracklings with salt, pepper, garlic and cachaça. Heat the oil over medium heat in a large skillet and add the cracklings. Cover and fry, stirring occasionally, until it starts to turn white. Drain reserving the fat and place in a container. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Heat the oil again, over high heat, and fry the pork rinds, stirring, until golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper and serve with lemon wedges.
