Chef Nusret Gokce, owner of the franchise restaurant serving gold-plated meats, appeared in a video on social media following star Lionel Messi and irritating the player by asking for a photo during Argentina’s third world championship celebrations.
The Turkish chef, who also went viral on the internet for the ‘Salt Bae’ meme, posted several photos and videos on his Instagram account with players, including Ronaldinho Gaúcho, and other celebrities, such as Elon Musk, during the World Cup in Qatar. He didn’t want to miss the opportunity to sign up alongside Messi and, after much insistence, he succeeded.
Gokce took the Argentine’s number 10 seriously after chasing him during the party on the stadium’s lawn, to which the chef had access. In the images, Nusret appears several times holding Messi’s arm and receiving a seemingly angry look.
