Ingredients:
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- 100 g of diced bacon
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 crushed garlic cloves
- 2 cups cabbage (chopped)
- 4 cups boiling water (tea)
- 2 cups uncooked parboiled rice
- 1 cube of chicken stock
Method of preparation:
- Season the shank with salt and pepper.
- In a frying pan, heat the oil over medium heat and brown the ham cubes, add the bacon and fry until golden brown.
- Add the onion, garlic and cabbage and saute for 3 minutes.
- Add the rice and the chicken cube dissolved in the water.
- Lower the heat and cook in a covered pan until the rice softens.
- Serve immediately.
