Those who think they have to stop eating what they like to re-educate themselves in terms of nutrition are wrong. “The important thing is balance and also accepting changes, for example: we can leave sweets, but the person needs to consume fruit and vegetables”, the doctor points out.
However, this process can be difficult if the people who live with you are not willing to do it. “It’s not impossible, but it’s more difficult. Talking about your plans with them is key,” adds Dr. Andrew.

1 – 50% of the main meal plate should consist of vegetables and greens, and 25% should consist of carbohydrates and proteins;
