Angélica Almeida, columnist for Sport Life, reveals how to start a new routine
Speak my loves, Angelica Almeida in the area, how are you? 2023 has begun and you still haven’t felt that motivation to start exercising and dieting. And what I can say is that your brain doesn’t want that, after all, its function is to save energy.
And everything that you include again will have to expend energy. But this is very good, because if we have a reserve (body fat) the intention is to eliminate it.
Changes create discomfort, but I want to suggest you analyze your resistance to these changes. Since there are studies stating that over 60% of women want to lose weight, despite worrying, 49.3% of these women make no effort to achieve their goal.
So, I say weight loss isn’t impossible, it’s just not done diligently. Stop renegotiating with your health, it’s not bank debt. There are several ways to start a new habit.
How to find the energy to change habits
1. Do the bare minimum of exercise, I can only do it twice a week, I can only train for 10 minutes, I can only train at home. Everything OK!
Two. replace food in nature, fruits, vegetables, cereals, the famous peel more, unpack less. Cut out the white sugar, replace it with the sweetener.
3. Change the environment. Technology has come to help, but it actually cuts off our movement. In this way you have to leave the house less and less to do something, certainly the pandemic has aggravated this situation. And we increase our entertainment within our homes.
All excuses will end. That doesn’t mean you don’t need physical and nutritional follow-up. That is, you will have an easier time exercising. By building new habits, you can achieve your goal.
