Preta Gil used her Instagram profile this Sunday evening, the 15th, to update her followers on her state of health. The singer, who was diagnosed with bowel cancer on Jan. 10, said she was confident in her treatment and the news left her “very reflective”. The post received comments from several celebrities, sending good vibes to the artist.
“Love, I came here to record this video for you in return for all the love and affection I have received these last few days. Difficult days, with many reflections, but also with a very profound transformation that I am Tomorrow (16 January), Monday, I start my treatment”, began the singer.
“I am confident, very confident that I will emerge victorious. I have no doubts about it. I have a lot of faith in God, in my Orixás and in the doctors, a lot of faith in the doctors who will cure me,” he said.
The singer also said that she intends to share with her followers what this moment in her life will be like.
So, I’m confident that I’ll make it, that I’ll be fine and that I’ll come here every week to record a video to show you that I’m fine, to tell you if I’m fine and also, when I’m not so fine,” he concluded in the video.
