It must be remembered that in order to bring Merlina Addams to life, Jenna Ortega had to learn to play the cello, archery, fencing and even acrobatics.
Although his efforts paid off, as the Netflix series became an audience favorite, preparing for each of these activities resulted in a demanding schedule. This was revealed by the young actress on February 9 in a question and answer panel organized by Netflix, in statements collected by “Variety”.
Initially, the recordings of “Wednesday” lasted between “12 and 14 hours a day”, although “it had to be two hours before on set”.
