“I think I’ve felt more pressure.”
‘Loki’ actress Wunmi Mosaku found filming for the second season more stressful than the previous one.
Returning to life as her AVT character, Huntress B-15, alongside Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson (Agent Mobius M. Mobius), the actress spoke exclusively with Digital Spy while promoting her new movie, ‘Alice, Darling.’
Naturally, the second season of ‘Loki’ arose in the conversation, due to its future premiere on Disney +.
“It definitely gave us confidence,” Mosaku said about the success of the first season.
“It was really nice to come back. Also weird for me (the fact of returning to a series). I think I’ve only done it again once and I did it for one episode.
“Coming back with a second season and seeing everyone saying, ‘Wow, we’ve done this,’ was a lot of fun.. It was something very new. I think I felt more nervous. I hope we live up to season 1 because obviously it went well. After all, here we are in a second round.”
A little later, the actress explained that she is in a unique place within the MCU, since her peripheral position does not inspire many fan theories, nor much scrutiny about her character.
“Sometimes, in interviews, I get asked a lot of questions about the MCU, and I haven’t gotten there yet. I do not have all the answers. Although I don’t feel completely out of the world of the press either… You know, they are all very affectionate. The fans are full of love. The good thing is that I don’t have the pressure of playing a character that already existed.,” Mosaku mused.
“They get what they’re given, and I don’t have to live up to anything, just the series and my character. I have me and what I want for the character. But, yes, I feel like everyone has been very nice, even if I haven’t felt all the frenzy. I’ve never been to Comic-Con, so I don’t know what that’s like.”
The first season of ‘Loki’ is available on streaming on Disney+.
