James Gunn clarifies the future of the bat.
James Gunn has announced the new DC movies and series confirming that while Matt Reeves and Robert Pattinson’s ‘The Batman 2’ is still in the works, it won’t be part of the new main shared universe.
Instead we will have ‘The Brave and the Bold’, a film centered on the character of Damian Wayne, son of Bruce and one of the many characters who have taken up the mantle of Robin.
Given the recent trend of actors reprising their superhero roles of yore, George Clooney is rumored to reprise his role as the Dark Knight for the first time since ‘Batman and Robin’ from 1997 that, despite the criticism, you will be surprised to see what place it occupies in our ranking of Batman movies.
When a fan asked On twitter if Clooney would be he Batman from the new DC shared universe, James Gunn replied with a simple but concise: “Of course not”.
In addition to quelling any rumors that a former Bat-actor would be back for another shot, Gunn added that they are definitely going to hire “a new actor.”.
Of course, DC is bringing back a former Batman actor for ‘The Flash,’ although the upcoming movie is part of the concluding cinematic universe and will actually show continuity being reset.
One of the trailers and announcements of the Super Bowl 2023 was precisely a new trailer in which you can see Michael Keaton’s Batman with the version of Ben Affleck.
Keaton was to be seen on screen as Batman in the movie ‘Batgirl’, which was canceled after being shot and mostly edited, but turned out to be a failed project after the merger between Warner Bros and Discovery.
How did Leslie Grace find out about the cancellation of ‘Batgirl’? “I found out like the rest of you. And then my phone started blowing up,” star Leslie Grace said this week.
“The movie I got to see – the scenes that were there – was incredible. I thought there was potential to make a good movie. Maybe we’ll see bits of it later.”
