Now, they face one of their toughest stages.

WARNING: ‘Outlander’ Season 6 Finale Spoilers Below

The sixth season of ‘Outlander’ has left the story clearly on track, with many problems and mysteries that will have to be resolved throughout the seventh season. Claire has been accused of killing Malva, who was pregnant and had falsely accused Jamie of being the father.. The nurse is not responsible for the crime, but she will still be brought to justice. She does not look good for her, and the last time we see her she is being transferred to the city of Wilmington to face a judge and discover her fate. Of course, she is accompanied by Malva’s father, Tom Christie, who seems to want to protect her despite her enmity and the fact that she is the main suspect in the murder of her daughter.

Whatever the future holds for you, Jamie is already preparing to rescue her, although he will have to be rescued first.. After separating him from Claire, the men of the Committee of Safety under the orders of Richard Brown (the brother of the late Lionel, who kidnapped and raped Claire in the fifth season; this smacks more of revenge than justice) try to put Jamie in a ship to send to Scotland. They want to get rid of him once and for all so he can’t help Claire. However, young Ian and his friends arrive just in time to save him. Thus, in the last images of the sixth season we see Ian, Jamie, Myers and company riding along the beach towards Wilmington.

From here they are many unanswered questions: Will they arrive in time to save Claire? Who really is Malva’s killer? Will they all make it out of this new adventure alive? Will Richard Brown get what he deserves as his brother?

Season 7 of ‘Outlander’ will be based on the book ‘Echo in the Bone’ by Diana Gabaldon. The synopsis reads: “Set in the United States, London, Canada and Scotland. In the cover image we see an object that represents the story: a caltrop. It is an ancient military weapon with sharp points; the Romans used them to deter elephants, and the Highway Patrol still use them to stop criminals fleeing in vehicles. This book has four main plot lines: Jamie and Claire; Roger and Brianna (and family); Lord John and William; and the young Ian, all with interconnected histories at the nexus of the American Revolution, and all of them with sharp-edged weapons.”

Diana Gabaldon also wrote part of the first episode of season 7. Actually, it should have been part of a season 6 episode, but pandemic-era cutbacks ended up putting the footage in the new season premiere.

We previously saw a young version of William in the series, but the Canadian actor will bring him to life as an adult. “The character of William Ransom is a wonderful role, and one that fans have been eager to see.
