Director’s commentary on Rian Johnson’s Glass Onion coming to Netflix

We are all for the future. But there are some things the past has done differently and, frankly, better. Well, at least one thing: the director’s comments. We didn’t know how good we were in the DVD age, did we? Fortunately, Rian Johnson understands this. he comes back when knives out Released on Blu-ray and other formats, DOP writer and director of sound Steve Yedlin and recurring actor friend Noah Segan compiled a director’s commentary for the first case Benoit Blanc, and while the sequel, glass onionhas hit Netflix and probably won’t have a physical release anytime soon, they are at least he still gets a comment about it. From tomorrow we see glass onion on Netflix with Johnson sharing his memories of the set and pointing out all the Easter eggs.

From 6pm on Friday you can listen to Johnson’s glass onion comments about the streaming service, and fans wanting behind-the-scenes insight into how we did it will definitely want to check it out. Last time there were absolute belts: Lakeith Stanfield and Segan almost jokingly launched a spin-off for their two policemen, Detective Lieutenant Elliott and Private Wagner, with the slogan “They are fine”. This final reveal of Ana De Armas’ closing curtain cut required a deceptive amount of VFX tricks to get it right. And yes, you saw a reference to Johnson’s Brick about 90 minutes later, it’s hidden in graffiti in the tunnel.
