first film of Phase 5 of marvel cinematic universe (MCU) at the movies, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania had the return of Darren Crossplayed by Corey Stollbut repackaged as MODOK, who barely returned and already died in the franchise. Now, the actor commented a little about this scene in question.
During an interview with comicbook.com, stoll explained how he had a certain conflict of feelings in relation to the death of MODOK/Darren Cross. “Well, it was very confusing. Because it is, above all, an incredible death, and it is the best scene I did in the film,” said the actor in the conversation.
“So you wouldn’t want to miss that. But it also means nobody… you can always bring people back in these movies, but it makes them much less likely to come back. So that was sad,” he concluded. Corey Stoll.
How MODOK/Darren Cross dies in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania
After being sucked into the Quantum Realm in Ant Man (2015), Darren Cross (who was the villain yellow jacket in the first film of the hero played by Paul Rudd), has now been transformed into MODOK when I was in this other universe.
After working and initially being an ally to the villain Kang the Conquerorplayed by Jonathan Majors, darren is convinced by the daughter of Ant Man, Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton), fighting against kang. Then, MODOK dies in the ensuing fight, but is quite happy to have left as “an Avenger.”
