“My teacher at drama school would have been horrified.”
Despite the fact that some of the installments starring the ‘X-Men’ are among the best films in superhero history, Hugh Jackman has opened up about how playing Wolverine hasn’t ruined his voice.
The actor, who has also featured in blockbusters such as ‘The Greatest Showman’ and ‘The Miserables’, two of the greatest musicals ever, is also one of the biggest superhero movie stars of all time. AND growling so much when playing Wolverine for more than two decades has affected his vocal range.
“My drama teacher would have been horrified by some of the things I did with Wolverine,” Jackman said in a recent interview with the BBC’s Front Row programme.
“I’ve damaged my voice playing Wolverine. My falsetto isn’t as strong as it used to be, and I put that down squarely to some of the growling and yelling I did,” he explained.
However, Jackman isn’t going to be hanging up his claws any time soon because, as we all know, the actor will be digging up his character in ‘Deadpool 3’ along with Ryan Reynolds, the first firm step to bring the Merc with a Mouth and the mutants to the UCM, in a film in which Emma Corrin, from ‘The Crown’, has already been confirmed as a villain.
Hugh Jackman has explained to us how Wolverine fits into ‘Deadpool 3’, just like ryan reynoldswho added: “We have found a way to do it that is approved by Hugh Jackman and by Kevin Feige in which we are fully protecting Logan’s legacy as left“. “I wouldn’t mess with that. I’m so excited.” And if you’d like to feel this excitement too, but don’t understand the confusing timeline of this saga, here’s the order of the X-Men movies to help you figure out.
