Speaking on the sidelines of a meeting of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna dismissed Medvedev’s comments as “inflammatory rhetoric”.
“Unfortunately, Mr. Medvedev has long accustomed us to irresponsible and outrageous statements that in no way reflect reality,” he said.
