Sisu 2023 has more than 1.07 million subscribers and surpasses 2022

According to data released by MEC (Ministry of Education), over 1.07 million students enrolled in the first edition of Sysu 2023 The total number of applicants is 1.8% higher than that recorded in 2022 in the same period, when 1,054,474 students participated in the programme. Registration for Sisu ended last Friday (24th) and the result is expected this Tuesday (28th).

Considering that each student can enroll in a maximum of two course options, the total number of enrollments in this edition was 2,062,815.

Again according to MEC, the region of Brazil with the highest number of reports is the Northeast, with 40.1% of the total if we look at the birthplace of the students. Then comes the Southeast region, with 33.8%; in the South, with 9.5%; North, with 8.5%; and finally the Midwest with 7.8% of the total.

Entries for this edition took place from 16 to 24 February. This Tuesday (28th), the same day the regular call is released, the period for showing interest in joining the waiting list begins; The deadline is March 8.

If approved, the candidate must submit a list of documents upon matriculation at the university. This documentation is announced by the institution itself. Consult the list of documents that are usually requested when enrolling at universities, especially public ones. It deserves special attention from those who have been approved in the contingent arrangements, which usually require more evidence.

For the first half of 2023, Sisu has offered more than 226,000 vacancies in 128 public higher education institutions. 6,402 graduate programs participate in the program. To register, it was necessary to have taken the Enem 2022 test and to have obtained a score greater than zero in the term paper.
