What is the story behind the movie A Quiet Place?
The central story revolves around the Abbott family, whose members are mother Evelyn (Blunt), father Lee (Krasinski) and brothers Regan (Simmonds) and Marcus (Jupe). Everyone is devastated as they recently lost their youngest son, named Beau (Cade Woodward), who fell victim to the vicious attack of a sinister creature that hunts and kills people when they make noise.
In order not to be killed by these creatures, who use their keen hearing as a radar to find and kill humans, all the characters in the plot are forced to live with as little noise as possible. The plot follows in a well articulated way, showing the daily life of the family, how they find and produce food and supplies, and their tactics to live peacefully.
But Evelyn is pregnant again, which threatens to be a big problem in the future, because every woman in labor is in great pain and subsequently screams very loudly; that she would be the perfect bait for the creatures to find and kill the entire family. The screenplay by Bryan Woods, Scott Beck and John Krasinski is engaging and captures the attention of viewers with a constant tension of suspense: you never know what will happen, and when something happens, you feel the pain of the characters too.
