Vanessa has not slept all night. Many think about Mercier’s third victim, he asks questions of George about the ongoing investigation. So the policeman explains to him that the serial killer no longer pours poison into the victims drinks, but directly injects them with a syringe. He goes on to tell her about a small note found on Marie’s body. Vanessa then presents herself next on her list as all of her sacrifices were related to the wedding of Lewis and Bart. Meanwhile, prosecutor Pero is convinced that the record left on the victim’s body was written to him. He said Mercier would only do this to make fun of him and to celebrate the event after Chloe’s failure. It is therefore important to decrypt this message as soon as possible.
For her part, Matilda is sad when she sees her mother forcing her to postpone the wedding. The day before, Charlie had a relationship with François on a high school podcast. As he plans to punish her for maintaining some social peace in high school, François says he is willing to sacrifice himself for his couple. Annoyed by his sincerity, Chloe confirms that she has no plans to fire him. On the other hand, he orders him to be careful. He does not want explosions in or near the facility, otherwise he will have to punish him.
Soon François finds Charlie and kisses him passionately. Calmed that he no longer needs to hide, he apologizes to her for his rage. Charlie also apologizes for his patience. Now the reconciled kiss and decide to spend the rest of the day with François.
At the firm, Victor investigates the taking of a spoon hostage. At first, Victor forces him to believe that he has made progress, and then insists that he has only vague memories of that evening.
Later, Sylvain picks up his wife at the end of the workday. As he walks past her in the hospital lobby, Victor can’t help but make a few hints at the golden sledgehammer.
At the end of the day, Sylvain recalls Victor’s strange attitude lately. While setting the table for dinner, Sylvain receives a disturbing message: “It is not nice to steal Morno. Do you sleep well on both ears? Or should I say, on your trunk …“.
The accentuated Sylvain is especially quiet at dinner, something Crystal does not shy away from. So Sylvain forces him to believe he has a smear and decides to go to bed.
