“Where is Peter Pan?”
‘Peter Pan and Wendy’ has shared its first trailer and, in it, we have been able to take a first look at Jude Law in the skin of the mythical Captain Hook.
Directed by David Lowerythe new adaptation of the classic novel by JM Barrie, stars Alexander Molony and Ever Andersonwhich will give life to the two main characters, whom we will follow on their journey through Never Land.
The trailer shows the incredible landscapes of this magical universe, and right at the end, Law’s villain appears. With his immense voice, Captain Hook asks Wendy where his eternal rival is.
Also based, in part, on the 1953 Disney animation, ‘Peter Pan and Wendy’ will feature in its cast Tara Shahidi as Tinker Bell, Jim Gaffigan as Mr. Smee and with Alan Tudyk as George Darling.
The film will be exclusively on Disney + and will be released on April 28.
The younger Anderson had previously spoken about the moment she found out she would play Wendy.
“I felt like Wendy. A girl who would never want to grow up! I wanted this role very much. It’s everything I could wish for,” commented to flaunt.
“I was at a sleepover at my best friend’s house when my parents FaceTimed me. My mother asked me if I was alone, so I locked myself in a closet where I could have privacy,” she recalled.
“My mother stared at me for a while with a very serious face. Afterwards, she put on a big smile and said: You got the part!“
2023 is going to be a busy year for Disney. The premiere of the long-awaited new version of ‘The Little Mermaid’, which will arrive in summer, is also scheduled.
the leading actress, Halle Bailey, recently spoke about the criticism she had received for being cast as Arieladmitting that he had not been surprised by all the commotion.
“As a black person you can see it coming, stop being a shock,” he commented. “When my sister Chlöe and I signed with Parkwood, Beyoncé would always tell us, ‘I never read the comments. Never read the comments’.”
“When the trailer came out, I was at D23 Expo and I was very happy. I didn’t see any kind of negative environment.”
‘Peter Pan and Wendy’ is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on April 28.
