Why is Voldemort bald? A reasonable Harry Potter fan theory explains this

There are many ways the villain could have beaten the hero of the “Harry Potter” movies, but while it seems Voldemort (Raife Fiennes) left a lot to chance, one theory would suggest he was prepared for anything.

Voldemort is one of the most terrifying dark lords in film history, with his vast dark powers, tall stature, nose and hair, as well as his fearsome serpentine appearance and pale, deadly complexion.

But the leader of the Death Eaters didn’t always look like a creepy being, when he was Tom Riddle and started his plan to conquer the wizarding world and Muggles he looked like a handsome young man.

A theory proposed by fans would explain that his bald head is actually the result of his designs and appears after he learned to use dark magic and became He Who Must Not Be Named.

“Harry Potter”: why is Voldemort bald? The fan theory explains it

Although within the works and the world created by JK Rowling there is no clear explanation as to why Voldemort has no hair, fans have reasonably resolved this question.

Some fans believe that Voldemort’s body was gradually deformed over the years, the use of dark magic and the murders he committed to create each horcrux.

However, one theory says that the lack of hair is not because of this, but rather something intentional on the part of the villain and that he reproduces it even when he gets a new body in “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire”.

According to the theory, Voldemort is bald to prevent his enemies from taking a hair from him, creating a polyjuice potion and impersonate him.

The Polyjuice potion in the world of “Harry Potter” takes a month to brew, but allows the drinker to temporarily become the object of the hair sample.

In this way Voldemort would ensure that no one could deceive his followers or take his physical form to give orders contrary to his plan.

However, this theory has a negative impact, as other fans have pointed out that the preparation of the polyjuice filter does not require the use of hair, any sample of the person’s DNA can be done.

Either way, it’s believable that the villain thought of everything and even decided to go bald so that no one would interfere with his plans, which makes him even more cunning and evil.
