As fans know, the adaptation of the video game saga The Last of Us has been long in coming and could have taken many different forms. The studios originally had in mind a Sam Raimi movie… and even an animated series, as revealed by Jeffrey Pearce, the actor who voices Tom in the game.

And with motion capture from one animated series to another. In both cases, I told myself that I had a great chance to participate in the project“.
Pearce was stunned because even though those two adaptations never saw the light of day, he still landed a role in the HBO version. Not Tom, the brother of the hero played by Pedro Pascal, but Perry, a resident of Kansas City, whom we meet in episode 4. He plays Catelyn’s right-hand man, a character newly created for the series.
