When we go online to look at the various rankings that list the best series of the decade of 2010, we are almost certain that a series like Peaky Blinders, True Detective, Chernobyl or Stranger Things will appear on these various lists.

But when it comes to the top spot, one series remains largely undefeated among all the others, the aptly named Game of Thrones. And if one of the features of this program lies in the world of heroic fantasy, with grand scenery and the appearance of all kinds of monsters, such as dragons, giants or white walkers, it is also the impressive number of characters that make it specific.

Indeed, with eight seasons and sixty-three episodes, the series was able to take its time and introduce us to nine large families struggling for power, not to mention many secondary characters.
